For Manos y materia, Set—Apart collaborated with Nada Duele to photograph a collection shaped by hands, material, and intention. Created in collaboration with master artisans across Guatemala, the objects reflect a balance between function, ethics, and craft preservation.

Our work focused on the weight of the material, the marks of the process, and the human gesture embedded in every form. Light and composition were used to reveal not only the object, but the care behind its creation.

Founded as an artist-led project, Nada Duele operates at the intersection of craftsmanship and contemporary design. Their practice is rooted in ethical production, valuing processes that honor both the maker and the material, while allowing traditional techniques to exist within a modern visual language.
