Set—Apart collaborated with Mesa Madre on a series of artistic photographs created for their intimate creative space. Conceived as a personal and contemplative project, Mesa Madre exists at the intersection of gastronomy, art, and human connection.

Our photographic approach focused on intimacy and connection. Through light and shadow, the images explore food not only as nourishment, but as memory—something nurtured over time, shaped by care, presence, and shared experience.

About Mesa Madre

Mesa Madre brings people together around a table, united by a love for food and art. Led by chef Álvaro Perera, the project draws its name from the relationship between cooking and maternal affection—its strength, tenderness, and quiet dedication—honoring the table as a place of encounter, creation, and intimacy.
